Peanut Butter (Doggie) Cookies

Cookies are the food of friendship, and now you and your best friend can share these crunchy, peanut-buttery bites together.  It's better that you BOTH have peanut-butter-breath, right?

2 cups whole wheat flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 cup milk
1 cup peanut butter, smooth or chunky
2 tablespoons agave syrup or honey (Honey for adult dogs only!)

Preheat oven to 375F.  Combine flour and baking powder in a bowl.  In a separate mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, milk, and agave syrup/honey, mixing on low with a paddle attachment.  Slowly add flour mixture until smoothly combined.

Lightly flour a flat surface and roll out dough ¼-inch thickness. Using a bone-shaped or dog-shaped cookie cutter, cut out cookies and place on a parchment or Silpat-covered cookie sheet, baking for about 25 minutes or until lightly browned.  Remove from oven, and cool on a rack.

Use to decorate the Happy Dog Peanut Butter Carrot Cake, or enjoy immediately!

Makes about 25-36 cookies
