Brown Sugar Baked Ham

A simple, yet utterly delicious baked ham recipe with a crispy brown sugar crust, plus most of these ingredients are already in your pantry!

10 lb ham
4 tsp dry mustard
1 cup brown sugar
1 Tbsp black pepper
2 tsp ginger
1/4 to 1/3 cup bourbon, plus an additional 1/4 cup
1 cup water

Preheat oven to 325*F.

Place ham in baking dish that allows for liquid, such as 9x13" glass backing dish. Mix dry ingredients and add 1/4 to 1/3 cup of bourbon until paste is formed. Spread on ham and add water to remaining bourbon to pan. Cover with foil and bake for 15 to 20 minutes per pound. When internal temperature of ham is 90 to 100 degrees, remove foil and baste every 10 to 15 minutes with liquid from pan. Remove when internal temperature is 150 to 160 degrees. Allow to rest for at least 10 minutes, slice and serve.
